Privacy Policy

Effective date: 18 October 2026. This Privacy Policy explains how Kapra Silai handles information in the mobile app, admin dashboard, public website, and any optional order-tracking page.

Shop owners provide account and business information such as shop name, registered email, phone number, profile details, package information, and support messages. Tailors may also store customer names, phone numbers, notebook numbers, measurements, orders, jobs, cloth details, statuses, return dates, prices, payments, notes, receipts, and upgrade requests.

You choose which images to upload, including customer or cloth photos, shop logos, suit/measurement icons, and payment or upgrade screenshots. Images are compressed before upload where supported. We do not silently copy your photo library.

The app may record device and diagnostic information including a device ID, device model, operating system, app version, push token, IP address, registration and last-seen times, and error logs. Error logs can include the screen, error code, message, stack trace, and a failed sync payload when needed for data recovery. We do not use advertising identifiers.

Kapra Silai is offline-first. Shop records and pending changes are stored in a local database on your device so you can work without internet and sync later. Wizard drafts and some settings also remain on the device. The offline database is wiped on real sign-out; order drafts are cleared when saved or discarded. Please protect your device and do not share its unlock credentials.

We use information to create and secure accounts, provide shop management, measurements, orders, receipts and cutting slips, offline synchronization, search, reminders, notifications, support, backups, error recovery, service security, and legal compliance.

Service providers process information for us: Firebase/Google Cloud for authentication, Firestore, Hosting and push messaging; Cloudinary or the configured storage provider for media; and Expo/EAS for builds, updates and push delivery. Optional Google sign-in and Google Play or Apple App Store distribution involve those providers too. We do not sell your data, show third-party ads, or share it for advertising.

These providers may process data in other countries. Their own privacy policies and security practices apply. We share only what is needed to provide the service, and we do not make private orders, customers, measurements, or payments publicly readable. If optional public order tracking is enabled, only the order code, optional shop name, cloth type, quantity, job status, and return date are exposed after verification.

Camera access is used for barcode scanning and chosen photos. Photo-library access is used only for images you select for upload. Notifications are used for admin announcements and optional return-date reminders. Network status is used to control synchronization. We do not request microphone, precise location, or your contacts.

We keep information while your shop account is active and as needed for operations, support, security, backups, audit, and legal obligations. Package expiry does not delete your records. Archived customers or orders and rejected or cancelled upgrade requests may remain for history. Error logs, notifications, backups, and media-provider copies may persist for a limited additional period.

You may export your records before deletion. To request account or data deletion, open Contact Us in the app and provide your shop name, registered email, and shop UID. The administrator verifies ownership, deletes shop data, and completes the separate Firebase Auth account-deletion step. Deletion is not reversible, and provider backups or legally required records may take additional time to clear.

We use encrypted connections, per-shop access rules, admin controls, and least-privilege credentials where practical. No online or offline system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong password, protect your device, review sync status, and keep backups.

Kapra Silai is a business tool and is not directed at children under 13. We may update this policy as the service changes. The latest version will be posted on this page with its effective date. For privacy questions or deletion requests, use Contact Us in the app.
